All included services at every stage will be clearly described so you will know what you are getting and what the expectations are for both you and us. Here are some pricing considerations at each stage

Stage 1

We get to know you, and you get to know us.

The purpose of the initial meeting is for us to get to know you, and for you to get to know us. Be assured that there is no fee or commitment for the initial meeting. We will never charge you for discussing your needs with us.

We use a proposal software program to assist us in creating your custom proposal. All included services will be clearly described so you will know what you are getting and what the expectations are for both you and us.

Stage 2

Assess the current status of your records

The first step in working with us is for us to do a checkup of your existing accounting records. The purpose of the checkup is to assess the current status of your records so we are best equipped to provide you with our recommendations.

The main factor that can affect the cost of the checkup is how many months or in some cases years that need to be reviewed. If we are accessing the current year only, the cost is typically $1,000 for the checkup.

Stage 3

How much does a setup cost vs a cleanup?

The next step is for us to either set you up with a new QuickBooks Online (QBO) or Xero file or for us to clean up your existing data.

If you are a new business or we have determined that the best course of action is to set you up with a new accounting data file.

Before we can provide you with the price for a setup we will need to determine the following factors as they can affect the cost of your setup:

  • The number of bank and credit card accounts
  • The number of transactions involved
  • If you are using invoices
  • If you are using bills
  • The complexity of your reporting needs
  • If you have any outside apps connected to your accounting system

Many new clients that come to us have an existing QBO or Xero data file. Since we will have completed the checkup of your existing records with Stage 2, we will have uncovered any issues with your current data.

Some of the factors that can affect the cost of your cleanup are:

  • How many months or years need to be cleaned up
  • If your bank and credit card account balances agree with your statements
  • If you have transactions that are missing
  • If your payroll expenses agree with your filed payroll tax returns
  • If your records agree with your last filed tax return

Stage 4

How much do ongoing services cost?

Now that you either have a new QuickBooks Online (QBO) or Xero file or your existing file has been cleaned up, we know you want to ensure that your bookkeeping never gets out of control again. Ongoing services are vital for you to maintain up to date and accurate records.

At this point, you may be wondering how much your ongoing services will cost.

We are happy to give you a quote as soon as we can, but first, we will be asking you a lot of questions about the details of your business and how you operate.

We will customize your service based on your needs. Some areas where there is some flexibility including:

  • How often we will be updating your records
  • How often we will be providing you with reports
  • How often we will virtually meet

What does it cost to Go Beyond?

Our next-level services are future-focused, so you can confidently move forward in determining what the next chapters of your business will look like. These services are available only to clients who are already working with us on a monthly basis and are ready to take the business to the next level of growth and profitability.

We will provide you with recommendations as to which Go Beyond Services we think you will benefit from. The pricing on the Go Beyond Services will be largely determined by how often the forecasts will be done and how often we will be meeting together.
