We all want to get paid as quickly as we can. Getting paid in a timely manner is very important to a small business as cash flow can make or break a business. The lifeblood of cash flow for many businesses is invoicing. It also can be the most time-consuming. Xero has many features to simplify the invoicing process and we have written many articles on this topic. One recent feature we were pleased to see was Invoice Preview.
Xero has recently updated the invoice screen so that you can view an invoice before sending it to your customer. The invoicing preview feature saves time and makes things run more smoothly. It is nice because the invoice preview displays what your customer will see when they view your online invoice.
By previewing an invoice beforehand, a business owner can verify mistakes before sending it out to the customer. Ultimately this saves time and improves customer service. When customers are not calling you to discuss corrections to their bill, they likely will engage you in additional services in the future.
Xero is constantly releasing improvements to its software to help small business owners. We especially like this newer release related to previewing an invoice. We can hardly wait to see what Xero has up their sleeve with the next release!
